Graphic Design 201


In Graphic Design 201, you will learn the creative process of constructing assorted forms of print and web media from initial drafts to final result as in Adobe’s Illustrator. The intention of this course is to not only expand the way you perceive media, but also to highlight how it is built from start to finish. By introducing Illustrator, you will begin to have a full understanding of how to construct an acceptable layout.

Upon Completion of this Course, you will have learned the following:
• Understanding Illustrator’s work flow and layout.
• Interpret and evaluate graphic samples.
• Illustrate a mockup and apply it in Illustrator.
• Working with type.
• Using polygons to enhance design elements.
• Applying gradients and color matching designs.
• Create a basic flyer.
• Understand and apply bleed.
